Miss Marion artist and preformer from Paris, France shoots with the Diana F+. November 19th th 22nd she will being showing a selection of her DIana F+ at Paris Photo folowed by a solo exhibition in March-April.

Tell us a bit about yourself.
I am an artist and performer playing with the codes of femininity and the art of tease. I have been performing the last 5 years all around the world. I am fascinated by Hollywood icons and embody female archetypes in my performances, playing with the audience and the notion of voyeurism.

Tell us about some the current projects you are working, do you have any events in particular you are looking forward to?
I am very pleased to show a selection of my Diana F+ Pictures at Paris Photo November 19th to 22nd. Also my first solo art exhibition is scheduled for March-April 2010 at galerie la B.A.N.K in Paris. I will show some erotic pictures, a new video and an art installation. Very exciting!

How long have you been a Lomographer? How did you get into it?
I got into it with the Fisheye, which I had about 5 years ago, but I much prefer the Diana F+. I ended up on the cover of the Colette- Diana special edition book last spring (shot by Jenny Mannerheim) by chance and Peter from the Paris shop asked me if I’d like to be a Diana ambassador for the summer. How fabulous is that?!

Describe the Diana F+ in five words…
fun, toy, magic, plastic, pink (mine is)

What is it specifically about the Diana F+ that has captured you imagination?
The extreme colors (I use cross-development) and the dark corners, It enhances reality and make life looks so POP! The Diana is really easy to use and yet makes amazing photographs.

The strangest, funniest, or hands-down greatest photographic/Lomographic encounter that you have ever had?
Having to lie and say the pink Diana was a jewel to get into the projection room at festival de Cannes where it is forbiden to take pictures ( it matched my long leather gloves perfectly though). It worked!

What do you find inspiring about the city you live in and how does it enhance your life as well as your photography?
Actually, I realise I ’ve never shot Paris with my Diana F+! I guess I have to be visiting a city to feel curious and relaxed enough to be shooting. Paris is Home and therefore not so inspiring…

The one person (living or deceased) who you would most like to photograph and why.
Rita Hayworth because she is my number one beauty and elegance icon.

If you had your suit case packed, your Diana F+ and a bunch of film, where would the destination on you plane ticket be?
Hawaï !

What advice can you give other Diana F+ shooters?
Don’t try too hard to find the right frame, in doubt, always think back to what triggered the idea of taking the picture. Be spontaneous.
